Dr. Caitlyn Lew received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. During her training, she developed a passion for pediatric eye care and went on to complete her residency training in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University.
Dr. Lew’s interests include pediatric primary eye care, myopia control management, strabismus, amblyopia, and vision therapy. She previously participated in clinical research at Stanford University investigating pediatric visiondevelopment, strabismus, amblyopia, and concussion-related vision disorders and was a clinical investigator in the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group. She is a distinguished Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Arizona Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Lew is from Southern California and relocated to Tucson in 2023 with her fiancé and havapoo puppy. Outside of the office, she enjoys baking desserts, exploring nature, and sewing/quilting.
