Dr. Kimberly Duong received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. Her clinical training was done at VA Southern Arizona Health Care System.

After graduating from optometry school, Dr. Duong returned to Tucson, AZ where she completed an Ocular Disease and Low Vision residency at the VA Southern Arizona Health Care System. Her extensive training included treatment and management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and urgent walk-ins. She was also able to spend time at the on-site blind rehabilitation center where she provided interdisciplinary vision rehabilitation to legally blind and visually impaired patients.

Dr. Duong was born and raised in San Jose, CA and she enjoys a variety of hobbies from reading romance and fantasy novels, vlogging her everyday life and travels, lifting weights, and trying new food.
