Why Us?

We Deliver Comprehensive Eye Care—From Preventive Exams to Specialty Treatments
How to Get Emergency Vision Care Without Going to the ER
It’s tough to get emergency care for an eye health issue. Most patients must go to the emergency room, where they can only hope that the on-call ER doctor has experience with ophthalmic conditions. Once you’re a patient with Arizona Eye Consultants, you can get in touch with us any time for an emergency eye problem. We go the extra mile for any patient who calls us with an emergency, and gladly accommodate same-day emergency appointments.
If you have an emergency after hours, we have a physician on call 24/7/365 to assist you.
Our Doctors Are Innovators Who Improve the Quality of Care for All
Every doctor is committed to furthering the body of knowledge in our field to better serve all patients, not only our own patients. Our founder, Dr. Sean McCafferty, earned a degree in mechanical engineering prior to attending medical school. Combined with his advanced knowledge in ophthalmology, Dr. McCafferty’s engineering skills enabled him to develop the patented, FDA-approved CATS® Tonometer Prism—a sophisticated medical device that enables ophthalmologists to more precisely measure the intraocular pressure (IOP) of patients with glaucoma. We’re pleased to contribute to a higher standard of care for all patients, and we’ll never stop innovating.
