Dr. Lauren M. Imbornoni is a board certified ophthalmologist and specialist in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Arizona Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science. She went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University of Colorado.
Dr. Imbornoni’s interests include pediatric and adult strabismus, pediatric cataracts, amblyopia, nasolacrimal duct obstruction and systemic/genetic diseases that affect the eye. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
Dr. Imbornoni is an Arizona native and lives in Tucson with her husband. They enjoy exploring the desert, trying new restaurants, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
