Dr. Keith McCormick is a board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions in children, as well as strabismus care for both pediatric and adult patients. He is known for his calm, compassionate approach and his ability to help patients and families feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their care.

Dr. McCormick earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Duke University and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Carilion Health System–Roanoke Memorial Hospital, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Duke University Eye Center. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Eye Consultants of Atlanta.

His clinical interests include pediatric and adult strabismus, tear duct obstruction, amblyopia therapy, ptosis, congenital glaucoma, congenital cataracts, metabolic eye disease, and ocular trauma. Dr. McCormick is committed to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

New to Tucson, Dr. McCormick is excited to become part of the local medical community and to care for children and families throughout Southern Arizona. He values collaboration with patients, parents, and referring providers, and looks forward to building lasting relationships within the community.

Outside of medicine, Dr. McCormick enjoys golfing, snow skiing, saltwater fishing, and hiking. He especially enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Michele, and their Yorkie, Cooper—who happily joins them on hikes whenever possible.
