Dr. Burke Lieppman, raised in Prescott, Arizona, earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Arizona. He then went on to a research fellowship at the Schepens Eye Research Institute of Mass Eye and Ear, followed by his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry.

Dr. Lieppman has held positions as an attending optometrist and adjunct instructor at the New England College of Optometry, and as an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the University of Arizona Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science, contributing as both a clinician and researcher. His clinical and academic interests include pediatric primary eye care, myopia control, amblyopia, strabismus, and community health.

Outside of work, Dr. Lieppman enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, cycling, and listening to live music.
