Dr. Jason D. Jensen comes from the small farming community of Richfield, Utah. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biology at Utah Valley University and worked for an ophthalmologist as a technician during that time. He then attended medical school at the University of Utah. His subsequent residency training was the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN. Throughout his training he was actively engaged in multiple research endeavors involving cataract surgery, ocular trauma, and education through social media. While in residency he fell in love with glaucoma, and continued on to complete a Glaucoma Fellowship at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Jensen loves taking care of each individual and forming lasting bonds with his patients. He is know for treating each one of his patients like family.
Dr. Jensen married his high school sweetheart and they have 4 kids together. When not at work he is enthusiastically coaching sports or at a dance competition for one of his kids. He also loves being outdoors and Tucson’s beautiful landscape is his perfect playground.
